Welcome to the SESUG 2002 Proceedings!

This CD includes the SESUG 2002 Proceedings, published in September 2002. 
These are the Papers and Posters scheduled to be presented at the conference.
At the time the printed Proceedings and this CD were compiled, all of the
scheduled presentations except for a few are included here.

All of the SESUG papers on this CD are PDF files. You must have Adobe Acrobat 
Reader 4.0 (or higher) in order to read and search the PDF files on this CD.
Earlier versions of Acrobat Reader will not work correctly. 

The current version of Acrobat Reader (5.0) is stored on the CD in the Acrobat
sub-directory.  Both a Microsoft Windows and a Mac version can be found there.

Some of the papers included on this CD-ROM do not display clearly at the
standard magnification. This is due to the font style and size chosen by the
individual paper authors, or due to the use of low resolution screen captures.
If text appears as gray lines, increase the magnification to view the text.

After installing the Acrobat Reader, you can view the files by double-clicking 
the file PROCEEDINGS.HTML. Ignore any error messages and maximize the browser window.
This page has a link to the Proceedings main table of contents page that contains 
a linkable listing to each section of the Proceedings and links to the individual papers. 

In addition, there is a SESUG2002.PDF that contains all of the papers in 
in one large file.  This file may be used in lieu of index.html to access, browse,
and search the papers.

In addition, the papers for The Joint Conference of the SouthEast SAS Users Group 
and South Central SAS Users Groups, SSU 2001, are included in the file SSU2001.PDF.
This conference was held at the Hotel Inter-Continental in New Orleans, LA.
on August 19-22, 2001, and it was chaired by Deborah B. Buck and 
S. David Riba.
