Welcome to the SESUG 2004 Proceedings on CD-ROM! This CD includes the papers presented at SESUG 2004 in Nashville, TN and published in the conference proceedings (October, 2004.) This CD-ROM contains a Windows application that will launch automatically when you insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive. If you are using an operating system other than Windows or you have disabled this feature, you can still browse all of the conference papers and search the contents of the proceedings by opening the PROCEED.pdf document (contained in the Proceed directory.) If you prefer, just can launch the CD-ROM Navigator application located on the root directory of this CD-ROM. To launch this application, simply double click on the file SESUG2004.EXE. All of the papers on this CD are PDF files. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 (or higher) WITH SEARCH CAPABILITY installed in order to read and search the PDF files on this CD. Earlier versions of Acrobat Reader will not work correctly. You can point your browser to http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/readstep.html If you have questions or problems using PDFs or Acrobat Reader 4.0, please refer to Adobe's Introduction to Acrobat Reader by pointing your browser to http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/ac76.htm Some of the papers included on this CD-ROM do not display clearly at the standard magnification. This is due to the font style and size chosen by the individual paper authors, or due to the use of low resolution screen captures. If text appears as gray lines, increase the magnification to view the text. After installing the Acrobat Reader 4.0 with search capability, you can view the files by double-clicking the file PROCEED.pdf. This opens the Proceedings main menu page that contains a linkable listing to each section of the SESUG 2004 Proceedings. If you have any questions about how this CD-ROM was created or want to contact me, please use the information below. Happy SAS'ing!
